radiology findings revealed findings diagnostic of acute necrotizing
pancreatitis with cyst formation.

for the year 2010 was approved and issued by the Academic Affairs
for hospitals sector and life support center. Main theme of this
year is the specialized scientific meetings carried out with special
invitation for health care workers in the concerned specialty from
the whole region. It is expected soon to issue the Calendar of
events for primary health care and health education events for 2010.

new employees in King Fahad Hospital Al-Baha and improve their
orientation about the hospital, Al-Baha region, and the whole
kingdom, Academic affairs in collaboration with quality management

for Al-Baha Pediatrics Conference
Al-Baha 3rd
international Pediatrics conference was a real success for King
Fahad Hospital, Al-Baha in all aspects. Scientific program was full
of distinguished speakers and very interesting topics, organization
process was smooth despite having 450 participants from all over the
kingdom that makes this event one of the largest national wide
conferences. more than 150 participant enjoyed internationally
recognized certificates from both American Academy of CME and
European Council for CME

As a service provided
by Academic Affairs every year, the new combined 1431 Hijri with
2010 Gregorian calendar was published and available now for health
care professionals in Al-Baha region to be used for planning of the
new year activities. This calendar is amenable to change according
to start of Hijri months officially announced each at its time. a

Accredited by AACME for the 3rd Year
King Fahad Hospital,
Al-Baha officially received accreditation renewal for the year 2010
by the American
Academy of Continuous Medical Education (AACME). This enables
Academic Affairs to provide internationally recognized CME events
and enjoy partnership services provided by this respected
international body. This privilege was granted after finishing the
academic year 2008 and providing more than 500 accredited CME hours
and providing AACME with full report of these events.
