The Academic Affairs
Administration considers Health education an intimate part of its
mission. The newly established health education department is
concerned with providing a simple and clear massage in collaboration
with hospital departments for both patients attending to receive
health services in the hospital and also all inhabitants of Al-Baha
region.
A lot of publications
were issued in Arabic language including both booklets and brochures
that was prepared by hospital staff interested in this field.
Health education
department has also a good coordination and collaboration with local
authorities like Directorate of Education, Directorate of health
Affairs, and others in Al-Baha to provide their staff with proper
health education massages according to their field.
The department actually
carries out well organized scientific and social events according to
the international days of different health problems like TB,
bronchial Asthma, and others.
Encouraging breast
feeding is a main concern of the department with a lot of materials
and methods of patient education used to increase the ratio of
children receiving breast feeding and improve the way mother
managing this essential process for the well being of their
children. |
