King Fahad Hospital, Al-Baha

Al-Baha region, same like other regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, acquired the interest of His Majesty The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques –May Allah guard him- specially in ensuring the best health care for all the people. This interest was evidenced by starting up of King Fahad Hospital in Al-Baha which was built at His Majesty late King Fahad Ibn Abdulaziz –May Allah bless him-.

Initially, the hospital has been operated by one of the International specialist companies in directing and operating  hospitals, but since 1421 it was self operated under the supervision of MOH.

Nowadays, the hospital enjoyed great attention by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Ibn Saud Ibn Abdulaziz –May Allah guard him-, his deputy His Royal Highness Dr. Prince Faisal Ibn Mohammed Ibn Saud– May Allah guard him -, His Excellency Minister of Health and His Excellency the General Director of Al- Baha Health Affairs.  

Instantly, fast speed steps are taken to finalize more than 30 medical and developing projects, most important of which are the Medical tower that contains a variety of medical specialties like open heart surgeries with tumors diagnosis &management, constructing an auditorium with a total capacity of 450 persons, a special centre for diabetes care, a new further unit for artificial kidney, restoring and maintaining all hospital’s buildings and developing housing compound.

All these projects are being done upon the directions of His Royal Highness Prince of Al-Baha that aims to convert King Fahad Hospital to a specialized hospital.
