Mission of Academic
Affairs Administration never forgot the human resources development
in fields that are non-medical but will definitely improve
performance of hospital staff and by the end it will facilitate
achieving excellence in providing health care for our patients.
These courses are usually carried out in our training centers fully
equipped for the convenience of both trainees and instructors.
So, variety of training
courses are being carried out for hospital staff including computer
courses, English courses, Medical terminology of different levels,
and also administrative courses. These courses are offered for free
for hospital staff. Sometimes, the hospital offers this opportunity
for guest trainees from outside the hospital, especially workers in
health affairs in Al-Baha.
These courses are
usually being carried out in collaboration with nationally
accredited training centers and instructed by well known figures in
the field of these training courses. High level administrators in
the hospital are always keen to participate in such courses and
encourage their employees not to miss such opportunity.
Orientation program for
the hospital new staff is essential to prepare newcomers for work
conditions, policies and procedures in the hospital. This
orientation program was prepared comprehensively in collaboration
between Academic Affairs and the active Quality Management. This
program includes series of lectures and practical activities for 3
days in the first month after joining the hospital.
An orientation booklet
is under preparation by the Academic Affairs as a manual for new
staff including all information required to best use available
recreation and social services in the hospital and manage his
official procedures in different hospital departments for leaves,
issuing visa, tickets and other procedures.
